The exciting Bull Fighter step mimics a matador (the leader) waiving around a red flag (the follower). This is a multi-part extension of the shadow typewriter, so you'll want to practice each element individually and then connect them to make everything smooth.
- If you're overwhelmed with the combination of several elements into one pattern, slow down and take this step by step. Ensure that you've really mastered each element before connecting it to something else.
- Dancers should look at each other while in shadow position.
- In shadow position, leaders should avoid hanging their right arm around the follower's neck. This can be painful and creates a very heavy look. The arm should be around the follower's shoulder blades.
