Lesson 17: The Lean
The lean is the ultimate move to start your dance with a bang! This variation can also be used in the middle of your dance as an impressive highlight.
Don't Forget ...
Before you begin the lean, make sure you and your partner stand close to each other. Your hips should be connected.
Leader, plant both feet to the ground, bend your left knee, keep your right knee straight and stick your hip up slightly to create more surface for your partner to lean on.
Follower, make sure to roll shoulders back, keep your body straight, trust your partner and relax into the position.
